Shows remarkable defense against Root-knot nematode, vigorous, strong tree. Susceptible to root-lesion nematodes prefers sandy soil, susceptible to oak root fungus and bacterial canker, prunes subject to brown line complex. ? Summer : Sent iIn container with soil (leaves will be removed or cut short to conserve on water consumption), in the mailing tube or box. (April trough September). ? Winter : Sent bare root with roots wrapped in wet media during its dormancy (October trough March). Plant will be cut short to 22 inches in order to fit in the mailing box. ?
