Item description

This listing is for one live start of Tradescantia pallida - a species of spiderwort more commonly known as purple queen. This plant is best propagated by cuttings. Your live start will be at least 2 healthy nodes long with a flowering top (as depicted), bagged, and shipped in a 4x4x4 box. My live starts remain viable for many days this way. I wrap mine them in moist nutrient rich paper towel to ensure your live start remains viable. Simply put the start in good potting soil and watch it go. T. pallida is an evergreen perennial plant of scrambling stature distinguished by elongated, pointed leaves - themselves glaucous green, fringed with red or purple - and bearing small, sterile three-petaled flowers of pink. T. pallida is an economically important plant in the nursery and landscape trade. As a houseplant, T. pallida has been judged exceptionally effective at improving indoor air quality by filtering out volatile organic compounds via phytoremediation.-wiki Thank you for looking!
