The discontinued designer fabric sample was diverted from landfill by FabMo, an ecologically minded nonprofit. The thread is from SCRAP, a crafter’s recycling shop in San Francisco. It is 100% cotton and I suggest washing it by hand or on a delicate cold cycle.
