More handcrafted candy jade jewelry! Candy jade is an interesting stone made of what the Chinese refer to as "Bai Yu," or White Jade by its common name. This type of natural stone is hard and white or semi-translucent white in color. After being cut and polished, the stone goes through a complex color enhancing process, penetrating from surface to center with wonderful colors, thus their common name, Candy Jade. Here I combined lots of faceted fuschia, green and white colored candy jade including puffed rectangle beads and a center drop pendant. 4 mm ruby red candy jade beads were also added as were sterling silver findings including a toggle clasp, round beads, Bali spacers and ear wires. The focal point pendant is faceted and is 40 by 30 mm and the puffed rectangle beads are 14 by 10 mm. The necklace is 20" in length and the earrings are one inch plus ear wire.
