Society of Colorado Pioneers Membership Sterling Silver Badge 1880s Pickard Unique and Rare Badge Issued to a Member of the Society of Colorado Pioneers The Society was formed by the earliest Anglo-American settlers of Colorado HAE Pickard was initiated in 1881 and arrived in Colorado in June of 1860 He was on the Committee of the organization at one time and served as Postmaster of Buena Vista, CO in the 1880s. The medal was issued to members and is made of sterling silver with a gold pan element Total Length = 3.75" Width = Just under 2" Total Mass = 43.1 grams Badge is in XF to AU Condition.
