I would call this the "Aggressor" set of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Sure, the Klingons are Federation allies, but we all know they're spoiling for a skirmish with their provocative behavior patterns, if for nothing more than (Klingon) good-natured ribbing. This kit features the Vor'cha Cruiser, a formidable capital warship. You know and I know: Resistance is futile and we will be assimilated - or so say the occupants of the squarest ship in the galaxy. The Borg's Cube lines are classic (if you're into right angles), though the surfaces are a bit rough (read: utilitarian). You can nearly fit Picard's Enterprise into the central void area of the Romulan's Warbird - it's a huge ship (though still dwarfed by the aforementioned Cube). While the design is not displeasing to the eye, neither is it very comforting to the soul. These excellent little representations have traveled many years in this original packaging, and can either continue to be so displayed or else released to set on their own stands and ever better show off their own lines.
