THE BERRYS Large 16" x 22" original Sunday newspaper comic strip art from 5/7/1961 The Berrys was a family comic strip drawn by Carl Grubert and distributed by Field Newspaper Syndicate. It ran from October 30, 1942, until December 28, 1974. The strip chronicled the life of the Berry family, composed of father Peter, mother Pat, daughter Jill, son Jackie and baby brother Jimmie. Although one source claims the mother's name as Hazel instead of Pat, copies of the strip confirm her name as Pat. The original art is complete and in VERY GOOD or better condition with some overall wear. Color guide for the art is included. The color guide has a tear in it. The year of the strip is undated, but 1961 is the only year that Sunday fell on May 7th from that time period. (see pictures)
