This is a stunning Art Deco watch by Philippe Du Bois et Fils, Le Locle Suisse, the oldest watch factory in Switzerland. In 1785, Philippe DuBois founded what is now Switzerland's oldest watch factory in Le Locle. This watch is NOS and unworn. Movement is clearly marked Phil DuBois Fils Le Locle Suisse C100. However, I did not find any information on the C100 movement which could help me date the watch. I?d say it's circa 1940?s. 14mm without crown x 24.5mm without lugs. All original and unworn. A very attractive piece. The movement is functional, but it only runs intermittently. That means it runs for a few seconds and then it stops. It is obvious that the movement need to be lubricated after spending a lifetime idle. I can also get it done for you if requested.
