1943 WORLD WAR II WAR RATION BOOK TOKENS Includes: Fold-over leather pouch for holding Ration Book Tokens War Ration Book No.3 with 4 partially used pages of stamps Seven (7) OPA Red Point Tokens War Ration Book No. 3 was issued during World War II by the U.S. Price Administration. It contained eight pages of stamps, including four for meat rationing and four for a clothing rationing program that was never implemented. The stamps featured images of military vehicles and were designed to help manage the distribution of scarce resources during the war. The book served as a replacement for earlier ration books and was distributed in 1943. The items are in GOOD condition with some overall wear to all of the pieces. The leather pouch is especially fragile, with the flap of the red token pocket torn. Used by Lilly B. Blair, whose name is written on the Ration Book. (see pictures)
