Vintage Art Deco Necklace Flapper Face Pendant Black Glass Rhinestones Side Portrait Profile Lady Head Bolo Style Long Strands Beads Faceted Beaded Shiny Sparkling Round Clear Rhinestones Spacers 925 Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp Closure Roaring Twenties Look One of a Kind Handcrafted Handmade Artisan Jewelry There are flea bites and chips on the black glass beads This is an elegant vintage necklace that has as the focus piece a stunning Flapper woman’s face in profile that appears to be made of a black acrylic or resin. Her face has a regal sculpted look to it with a prominent chin. Her hair is a headdress of black and clear prong set rhinestones. The face reminds me somewhat of the porcelain ones made by Elvira Jackie. The necklace is signed on the back, but I cannot read what is written. It looks like AB 86” Woman or Pendant. The necklace has two strands of faceted black glass beads that are interspersed with silver metal rondelle beads that have sparkling clear rhinestones in them. In addition there are large round spacers with prong set rhinestones. The necklace hangs down in a Bolo like style. Each strand hangs down 22 inches, if it could be opened it would stretch out to 44 inches, but it does not open. Each strand is attached to a clasp at the neck and is also attached to the head on the back. The head is approximately 2 inches tall and 2 inches wide. This is a real eye-catching and unusual necklace that is sure to be a conversation starter. I have no idea when this was created, or who the artist is. This stunning and unusual necklace is in great vintage condition as you can see by the many enlarged photographs. There are a few bubbles in the resin or acrylic on the face that has been there since it was created, it is not damage. The black glass beads do have chips and flea bites that are hard to see with the naked eye because of the shine, but they are there. If either of these issues will be a problem for you, please do not purchase the necklace, it is being sold as is. Take the time to look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the condition better than I can describe. The pendant necklace is a unique piece of wearable art and will look spectacular for any occasion. I can guarantee you will be the only person wearing this at the event you are attending.
