The artist, Romayne Marie Wetzel (born Schwarzkopf) was born on February 6, 1917, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Anthony Schwarzkopf and Rose Schwarzkopf. She passed away in 1999 at the age of 82. She took up painting after she retired and this was her first painting, a small Winter Scene approximately 8” x 6” (frame). I do not know much about painting so I cannot tell you if it is watercolor or acrylic. She signed it in the lower right corner R. Wetzel - 75. I have no one to pass it on to so it would give me great pleasure to have the painting on someone's wall. This is your chance to carry on someone's legacy.
