One of the rarest Simpsons toys on the planet, the door on these clocks are notorious for breaking, our techs created a 3-D printed door, that is not only superior to the original, it allows the clock to be more functional and durable. At the top of the hour, Homer slides out the door holding a beer and a ?Woo-hoo!? sound plays, there?s also a demo button.
The majority of these clocks don?t work well, or work at all.
This clock works intermittently, and the ?Woo-hoo!? sound can be heard intermittently, but this doesn?t always work on the hour, and the sliding action also works intermittently.
The demo button presses easily and causes Homer to slide out of the clock, make sounds, and sliding action can be intermittent
Cosmetically the clock is in overall excellent condition. The hands have some bending to them, but we didn?t want to try to straighten them for fear of breaking the fragile wires. There's a spot of wear to the roof - very minor wear overall.
The clock requires four AA batteries (not included) and seems to work best on fully charged batteries. This clock also makes a ticking sound - this clock can easily be displayed without batteries. We think the clock displays best with Homer fully extended, no batteries, and hung on a wall or on a shelf.
