Item description
Very nice antique set. I don't think my webcam is giving it the respect it deserves, photos aren't bad but could have been better. Pieces are whiter than any of the photos show but photos were taken to show artwork and that came out alright although not really crisp. Actual pieces are all they should be. 5 1/2" saucer and the cup about 2 3/4" tall. Royal Grafton Bone China of England. Very Good to Excellent condition, no scratches or chips, has just a touch of light wear and maybe someone took a little brandy from it as there aren't any signs of tea stains. "Rally 'Round The Flag" theme and the absence of such for the USA suggests this to be actually from 1914. Cup legends "Invincible Allies" and on saucer "Allies United 1914" are more inspirational than celebratory. This puts you right at the start.
This is the kind of antique that has worldwide interest and appeal for multiple reasons and you cannot go wrong investing in it.
