A Wood Pipe that appears to have an oakum midcenter holding together a hard clay fired bowl.....this item looks ARCHAIC!!.....battleship in construction,an stinks of decayed tobacco......very difficult to accuratly date .....hence the wide time frame stated.......its sooo one of a kind.......PATINA.....is absolutely wild......resin tree sap applied to give the pipe its longevity.....this item has no european influence of colonial/manufacturing ......barter......entirely wild made...pre-resettlement period hence the wide time frame.... given very ACUTE/ SPECIFIC circumstances.......PATINA can look very similar on c.1700 vs c.1850.......S.11 BY 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 W. 11.6 oz.
