This is Fawcett Gold Medal #d1793, the first edition of this Jim Thompson novel, which has been called his last important book. A later printing is not stated, so it is assumed to be the first. The covers are good+ (wear at spine ends, slight spine slant, some other cover wear. Slight writing on front cover.) A small crossed-out address label on reverse of front cover. Pages are very good+, with just slight scratches and soiling on yellow-tinted page edges. Solid copy.
