Frame measures approximately 15 1/2" high x 11 1/2" wide, mat window measures 7 1/2" high x 5 1/2" wide
Lithograph print of painting by artist Carlo Pellegrini, nicknamed "Ape" (see signature)
Features Thomas Henry Huxley, and English biologist and anthropologist who specialized in comparative anatomy.
Print is framed in a gold painted wooden frame with double matted window
In very good condition with no visible signs of damage or repair. Back has some roughness and a string in place for hanging. Should be replaced with standard picture hanging wire. Eyelets for hang wire are in place and in good shape.
