BING GRONDAHL 2021 Mother's Day Plate RED PANDA with CUB is the title of the Bing Grondahl (B G) 2021 Mothers Day Plate, featuring a Mother Red Panda and cub. The mother Red Panda keeps her cub close to her on a branch in the treetops, and she builds several nests for the two of them to stay close until the cub grows old enough to leave the nest. The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Designed by Allan Therkelsen. Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three tower trademark of Bing Grondahl. Diameter approximately 6 inches. This is the 53rd plate in the Bing Grondahl Mother’s Day plate series.
