Starting with his engraving, with all its details of scapular, litany, and so forth, he added the new process of lithography to provide an image of great intricacy and precision now topped with a lovely, nuanced coloration, all in a holy card less than 3x5 inches. The results must have been stunning to contemporary Catholics! On the back we have added a series of quotes about the Rosary from Saints and the Blessed Mother herself that we think will help deepen people's devotion to the Rosary.
