This is a nice wood carved plaque of what looks to me to be Catholic Pope John Paul the 2nd (see photos). The carving is an original work of art. The carving depicts the pope and it is a nice religious item (see photos). The item is carved from wood panel board. The item is framed. The carving plaque is signed by the artist with initials carved into the plaque (see photos). I do not know the origin, but I will guess that it is from the US American (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item is nicely carved and it is the work of a talented artist (see photos). The picture frame has chunks of missing wood, some scratches and some other wear (see photos). The carving has scratches and other obvious wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The item framed in total measures about 1 foot 11+ inches high and it is about 1 foot 4 and 1/2 inches wide. This item would be a nice item to add to your collection.
