Item description
Vintage 1940s Set of 2 Paragon England Adam 5.25" Saucer Plates
This set includes two saucer plates by Paragon of England in the Adam pattern. This pattern was produced from around 1949 until 1952. Each saucer measures 5-1/4" in diameter. They are made of white bone china with aqua blue scrolls, brown accents and trim, and urns against bands of an ivory cream shade. There is a 1-7/8" diameter inner ring. The backside is marked "By Appointment H.M. The Queen H.M. Queen Mary" which was referring to Queen Elizabeth, wife of King George VI and his mother Queen Mary of Teck.
The condition is as shown in the photographs. No chips, cracks or crazing. Little to no signs of use.
