This is a set of 4 (four) hand painted Italy Four Seasons decorative plates. Lovely for a Provence or Tuscan-inspired kitchen. Each has a hand painted rustic farm scene depicting the four seasons on a farm. Primavera - sping - A woman collects flowers Estate - summer - a man harvests wheat Autunno - autumn - A woman harvests grapes Inverno - winter - man builds warming fire Each has an orange and brown stripe, and blue painted border. Three are marked on the back "Ceramich Maria Fatto A Mano Nove V1 9" - 9 1/4" in diameter (slight variation due to the handmade nature.) One is unmarked, but matches the others. Two are in perfect condition. Two have some crazing in the clear glaze, but not noticeable unless close up. They have holes on the back to facilitate display. From a smoke-free home.
