Item description
Add a touch of Southwestern artistry to your collection with this signed Native American Kachina-style doll. Standing approximately 6 inches tall, this figure appears to represent a Hoop Dancer, a theme often depicted in Navajo carvings.
The doll is crafted from wood and adorned with rabbit fur, feathers, and leather accents, featuring painted details on the mask and kilt. It holds two hoops, characteristic of the Hoop Dancer motif. The base is signed by the artist, though the exact name ("Julich" or similar) is difficult to decipher (please examine signature photo). Additional markings include what appears to be "HOOP" or "HOPI", a number (402706), and initials "AM TI" or similar.
This piece captures the unique style of contemporary Native American folk art dolls and would make a great decorative item.
