The brass zipper works with no issues. All seven of the brass snap fasteners snap securely. The bag has a previous owner's name written on it (Finney, Robert B. USMC 520 56 8916). While it is well worn, it is fully functional.*** Used by all branches of the US Military as a general purpose, heavy duty kit bag. Used most often by USAF aircrew for their kit as well as all branches of the service's airborne troops who often refer to it as the "Aviator's Kit Bag" or the "Parachutist Kit Bag."
