Harvey Albert Jason(born 29 February 1940) is an English actor and the co-owner ofMystery Pier Books, an independent bookstore that sells firsteditions.
A character actor infilms including The Gumball Rally and The Lost World:Jurassic Park, he also played in dozens of TV roles in the 1970sand 1980s, including ?Pinky? in Rich Man, Poor Man and?Harry Zief? in Captains and the Kings, both made in 1976
He is married toactress Pamela Franklin, whom he met in 1970 while making the filmNecromancy, and with whom he has two sons. He is theproprietor of Mystery Pier Books in West Hollywood, California, whichhe operates with his son, Louis. They opened their shop and startedlisting on AbeBooks in 1998. A number of video interviews with HarveyJason about his book store exist on YouTube, in particular a videomade by filmmaker John D. McMahon.1
