During the previous year, a "horn" was added to Elagabalus' portrait, commonly believed to be a mark indicating divine status. Obverse: IMP G M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, radiate, cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius right, seen from behind. Reverse: VERITAS AVG (sic!) Rare variety featuring VERITAS rather than the expected VBERITAS on the reverse. Uberitas standing left, holding purse in right hand and cornucopia in left.
