Item description
Beautiful brochure/portfolio/press kit measures 8.5 X 12" with reflective silver covers. Two press releases from 1987; two exterior photos, one interior dash view, two of the photos have press info on the back. Also single glossy heavy stock sheets: Hooper Emperor with color photo, Hooper Turbo-R with color photo, and Exclusive Preview of the Empress II.
Only six cars were manufactured by Hooper using the Bentley Turbo R chassis from 1987 to 1990 with a completely redesigned coupe body. The Empress II cost about 500,000 (estimated less originally), or roughly $825,000 US in 1990. That's over $1,500,000 US in today's money, arguably the most expensive production car sold at the time. In Very Good condition, with light wear. Very rare. I've never seen this portfolio for sale before.
