(#CAB1-1) Cameo is new, hand stained, made of natural pine resin to which color is added. This is a hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo of an African American WOMAN, facing forward, with nice detail, MILK CHOCOLATE BROWN color with IVORY color background, on a piece of reproduction brass and made into a bookmark. Cameo itself is 1-1/4" long x 7/8" wide. Superb detail down to the texture of her hair, and even to the pupils of her eyes! I know because I do half the work in creating the cameos. Comes with information card. The theme of African-American women in cameos is RARE, there is mention of this in the book "Cameos Old New (2nd Edition) by Anna M. Miller, G.G. (I recommend the book for anyone collecting cameos).
