Item description
? Set of 2 vintage 1980s ceramic soup/cereal bowls from Kiln Craft of Staffordshire, England
? Each bowl has the same German saying printed on both sides in blue lettering: Morgenstund' hat Gold im Mund (The early bird gets the worm); and Ein froher Gast ist niemals Last (A happy guest is never a burden). A red stripe is along the top and bottom of the sayings.
? Each bowl measures approx. 3.75 inches tall and has a diameter of 4 inches
? Each has a large loop handle
? Purchased in West Germany in the mid 1980s when I was serving in the military - time to downsize!
? These have been lightly used over the years, because I would have freaked out if someone broke one, so they are free from damage
