Item description
Good old pocket knife from an estate sale out of Newark Ohio.
Hard to find CHALLENGE CUTLERY COMPANY OUT OF BRIDGEPORT CONNECTICUT. Double blade. Made in the USA. Older carbon steel and not stainless steel.
MADE BETWEEN 1891-1928. I believe this is one of the early models so it was probably made closer to 1905.
Beautiful and original JIGGED BONE handle material. SEE PICTURES.
THE BEAUTIFUL SCALES HAVE NO CRACKS OR CHIPS! The knife still has its badge. Bolsters are in good shape. Both blades open and close. No snap left. Blades have half stops. The blades have signs of age and wear. SEE PICTURES.
3 1/4" long when closed.
GOOD CHANCE FOR A COLLECTOR!
