Material: Hand-carved wood, natural finish, lined interior
Condition: Excellent. All 4 pieces fit perfectly, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Interior lining intact and clean.
Richard Rothbard is a celebrated American wood artist known for his Boxology puzzle boxes ? sculptural works that combine function with whimsy. His Sugar Loaf, NY studio pieces are sought after by collectors and rarely come to market in this design.
This Crescent Moon form is a classic Rothbard puzzle box ? a functional sculpture with a hidden compartment inside.
