Item description
A beautiful and pleasing diminutive bottle shaped stem vase dating to the Georgian era, possibly 18th Century.
Being just 15 cm tall, it is decorated with 3 hand painted medallions , two of which contain floral bouquet and the third is of a rosy cheeked young maid..
Whilst artist and craftsman is unknown, the style and workmanship suggests that of William Beilby
Having survived well over 200 years, this piece shows some wear to guilding and a minor chip to the foot. Please review pictures.
A fine collectors item and a beautiful decorative dressing table item.
About
William Beilby was an eminent English glassworker known to have produced eminent enamelled glass during the later half of the 18th century.
