Item description
? This beautiful Han Horse figurine stands at about 13.5" tall, 11" long and 5" deep.
? It is made of designer composite resin, hand painted and polished
? The Han Dynasty 206B.C.-220 A.D. played an important role in Chinese culture and history. The Han Dynasty was notable for it's military prowess and the Silk Road, pathway of caravan travel and export to the Roman Empire. Horses were essential for maintaining contact with and control of the empire and for transporting goods and supplies throughout the vast and diverse country.
? As the military significance of the horse increased, so too did its role in leisure and recreational activities. "Dancing" dressage horses delighted emperors in court ceremonies as early as the Han Dynasty, reaching their zenith with the elaborate performances of the Tang Dynasty.
? Props in photos are not included with the item. They are meant to provide size perspective of the item(s).
