Item description
This sale is for ONE vintage cardboard advertising sign from Portland Traction Company (Oregon).
Measures 21" wide x 11" tall.
Dated 1943
Some wear and tear due to age.
See pictures for details.
Features Stanley M. Sharp, Staff Sergeant, Civil Air Patrol.
My research indicates that Stanley was born about 1925 and his parents may have been Abias Morris Sharp (born 1897-98 in Missouri) and Merle E. Sharp (born 1904 in Iowa).
Further research indicates that in 1940, Stanley and his family lived at 2514 North East 49 Portland, Oregon.
A wonderful piece of Oregon, Civil Air Patrol, Air Corps, and WWII history!
