Part # c0937 La France corp
Genuine vintage Freightliner ?coffin-style? grill/hood emblem ? factory part # CO937 made by La France Corporation (Elmira, NY).
This is the classic pointed/shield-shaped badge used on 1960s?early 1980s White-Freightliner cabovers and some conventional models (WFT, FLT, FLC, Powerliner, etc.). Black background with raised polished ?FREIGHTLINER? letters and chrome bezel. Measures ~10.5? long.
Condition: Very nice original survivor. Chrome has light patina and a few small marks from 40?50 years of service (no deep pits or bends), black background is solid with minor scuffs, all letters intact and legible. Back side still shows the original La France markings and part number. Displays excellent ? much nicer than most pulled off scrap trucks.
Perfect for restoring a classic Freightliner cabover, bubble-nose conventional, or as a killer man-cave/display piece. These early La France CO937 badges are getting extremely hard to find in usable condition.
Sold exactly as-pictured ? 100% original, no repro.
