"Let Mum Rest" Holy Family 5.25" Hand Painted Statue, New From Colombia #L021 You are purchasing a very nicely hand painted 5.25" statue of the Holy Family under the title " Let Mum Rest. This is a brand new concept of the Holy Family. These statues were hand painted by a group of widows that have lost their husbands due to the violence occurring in Colombia. They come from the Liscano Collection. It's an image of the holy family in a special nativity scene. It represents a manger in which the Virgin Mary is asleep and Joseph is lulling baby Jesus to sleep. Pope Francis said referring to this statue " how many of you have to divie the night between husband and wife for the baby crying, crying, crying. (ref. Aleteia.org) Measures 5.25" h x 6' w " base.
