Item description
Ten used used iron railroad anchors or braces. Made from steel about 3/8" thick and 1 1/4" wide, and they come out about 6 1/4" long. About two pounds each and they all match up. Ideal for whatever you want to use them for, there does seem to be some market going. Sold in this lot size as I think it is the lowest possible price per piece including shipping; I wanted to sell a group lot of twelve but could not fit that many into the Flat Rate packaging chosen which is the Padded Flat Rate Envelope. These were used and of some vintage but I doubt any are pre-war and most are likely from around the 50's or 60's. They will rust faster in two weeks on your porch than two decades in the ground so no way to tell when the track they were in was replaced. You could shine them up though if you wanted to.
We are not a metals dealer we just run into all sorts of odd stuff. We do have a few but not many more if you want to work out a larger or smaller group. For this group you get exactly the ones pictured so you can see them in advance to judge suitability for your project(s).
