Nice condition for the age with no apparent damage but likely was in a smoking home (there weren't any non-smoking homes) and although far from dirty has a few small smudge spots. Dab at them with a q-tip and alcohol during the TV commercials. He does have a bit of a lean to him which is best seen in the photo of the back. I expect this is supposed to be that way, because the base under his feet is consistent all around. About 6 15/16" tall. Much German porcelain was for export so he could be intended to appear Dutch or several other nationalities if not German.
