Item description
Hole punched for ring binder. Overall decent condition, minor blemishes only, very mild moisture stains on the covers but you will hardly notice. One of the more interesting manuals and notable for what is not there as much as what is, namely the absence of more than a mention of camo clothing. In fact the US Army in Vietnam had no official camouflage pattern. The first examples were made by Saigon tailors who had previously made them for the French, later everyone wanted one like John Wayne in The Green Berets. The only clothing here is about a half page dedicated to personally customized garments and gear. But you get 104 pages with a lot of photos and illustrations and it tells you how to conceal quite many things from various detection methods and devices. It goes so far as to show you how to paint howitzers and park aircraft. If that wasn't enough it shows you how to paint a warehouse to make it look like some houses. I wonder if anyone ever did.
