Item description
This is of Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain His-Feng the 3rd Plate in the Beauties of the Red Mansion Collector’s Series. Artisans and craftsmen, working under the kindly Patronage and guidance of China National Art and Crafts, present this plate of limited-edition plates by Master Artisan Zhao Huimin. Created in 1987. “At the tender age of twenty, Hsi-feng has been selected to manage the Yungkuo family residence, a palatial mansion with numerous servants and retainers on staff, and many family members as permanent residents and guests. Hsi-feng was selected for her position by virtue of her intelligence and capability. She was second in authority only to the great Matriarch, the senior female member of the household. And so the story begins.” This plate is in excellent condition, no chips, scratches or wear. I also have the 2rd, 4th and the 1st plates in this series, unfortunately the 1st plate is damaged, but this one and the 2rd and the 4th are in perfect condition.
