Angel Cherub Cupid Riding Dolphin Sterling Silver Earrings Signed Pierced Lavender Stone Aqua Bead Fantasy Mythology Dangle Earrings Hand Made Handcrafted This is a wonderful detailed pair of Sterling Silver Pierced Earrings of an Angel, Cherub or Cupid riding on the back of a Dolphin or Porpoise. It looks as though the rider is holding a bow for arrows in the air. Each earring is approximately 1 1/4” in length and 1” wide (not including the French hook ear wire). They hang down 2” from the ear. They are marked on the bottom of the Dolphin, but I am unable to read the markings. It looks almost like an anchor hallmark. Above each Angel is a lavender stone and an aqua colored bead. You can see that they are handcrafted because of the difference between the Angels and the slight imperfections you find in artisan created jewelry. These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished them, I will leave that up to you, they are beginning to form a nice patina that only comes with age. A great fantasy piece and a real conversation starter. They would be a perfect gift for a dolphin lover on Valentine's Day.
