Item description
You are buying 1 Blackhaw viburnum 6-12" tall in a 4 inch pot. A rounded upright growth form makes this popular viburnum both attractive when planted individually or grouped for a tall hedge or screen. Flat white flower clusters bloom in spring, giving way to yellow berries that darken to blue/black. The berries are desirable to birds and can be used in preserves. Generally multi stem, Blackhaw has dark green, finally toothed foliage that turns red/purple in autumn. The "perfect" flowers-having both male and female parts are self fertile and cross pollination is needed for reliable fruit production. Two or three shrubs are recommend for ample fruiting. Hardy in zones 3-9 Reach heights of 12-15 ft with a spread of around 5 feet.
California orders will ship bare root due to soil restrictions and ship Nov.-April only. We do not ship to AK, HI PR Planting instructions with every order. Shipping is 7.95 for the first pot 1.00 for each additional pot. We are a licensed nursery in the state of TENNESSEE cert.#2235
