I've tried many similar back and shoulder massagers and this one is well regarded for good reason. It's build quality is excellent. This is the third one I've purchased and not because it needed to be replaced but because I wanted to give them as gifts.
The motor in the Zyllion massager is very powerful and won't bog down under heavy use.
The first click of the on button turns on the heated rotating feature. A second push of the button turns off the heat for standard massage.
A long press turns it off. The cord is roughly 6 ft long and has a break away portion about one foot from the massager itself. It also comes with a portable car adapter.
This is an exceptional massager and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality massager.
