This is a hand-molded (reproduced from the original shell cameo) cameo of an African American PROFILE WOMAN, HAIR UP, with nice detail, MILK CHOCOLATE BROWN color with IVORY color background, on a piece of reproduction brass. Cameo itself is 1-3/16" long x 15/16" wide. Mounted on a reproduction brass hair pin glued to cameo. Intended to be inserted in hair already up, as a beautiful adornment to your hair, the looks is similar to a tiara adornment. They can also be displayed as a new heirloom. Here is what the full hair pin looks like, it is a brass double prong 3-7/8" long, plus the added height of the pine resin cameo on a brass backing. Stunning.
