Beautifully and elaborately rebound, though a tad bit professionally lacking, with Johnston?s name misspelled on the spine and the marbled paper on the boards over the leather rather than under, light wear to board edges, previous owner?s signature/date on verso of frontispiece, text itself is complete, and remarkably free of any foxing or soiling. The binding, though impressive, does detract from the value and thus is reflected in the lower price. A very distinctive book and marvelous Capture of Tyme in a beautiful but rather cut-rate suit of clothes.
