Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1970's sci-fi action/adventure drama, STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, released in 1979 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Robert Wise. When an alien spacecraft of enormous power is spotted approaching Earth, Admiral James T. Kirk resumes command of the overhauled USS Enterprise in order to intercept it. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this one-sheet boasts great sci-fi artwork of some of the main characters that was created by the renowned movie poster artist, Bob Peak, and his signature appears in the bottom right panel. It is in fine+ condition with some creases of varying sizes on the bottom left corner; light signs of wear on the bottom right corner; tiny areas of separation on the center crossfold; and some very small scattered creases simply from handling over time. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
