Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the 1950's Quaker-themed drama/romance, FRIENDLY PERSUASION, released in 1956 by Allied Artists and directed by William Wyler. Based upon the book by Jessamyn West, the pacifist attitude of a Quaker family is tested as a result of the American Civil War. The image depicts little Josh Birdwell (Richard Eyer) being chased by a goose while falling to the ground and looking over his shoulder at the bird. The border artwork features a large portrait of Gary Cooper as "Jess Birdwell." It is unrestored in fine condition with three light diagonal creases that are noticeable when looking at the back of the card; light signs of random wear on the corners; and a few scattered creases in the top 4 inches, simply from handling over time.
