It is s fairly transparent with quite a few natural inclusions. I cannot remember exactly where the Emerald came from, but I think it was from South American country. Please ask all questions before buying and I will try to answer them. I purchased this stone in the mid 90s from a trusted source.. and put it away to be set in a ring for my wife. Before i could pick a setting, my mother gave her a Columbian emerald ring almost the same size/shape/cut.
