They are made from 1/16" (0.0625") stock 1018 steel and extra insistance was placed on making sure they are straight. The splined areas on original Aurora axles can vary widely. The spline area on these axles can vary in diameter from .0625" to about .0635", a variation of approximately 1.6% This acle can also be used on X-Traction, Johnny Lightning, Auto World, Dash and can probably be used on TOMY Turbo, SRT and Super G+ as well.
