This strap is manufactured from extra heavy duty polypropylene square weave webbing the is mildew resistant, easy to clean and water repellent. This strap is perfect for use in damp environments like the front of your ATV or 4 x 4. Strap Dimensions: Length: 12 inches Width: 1 inch Thickness: .081 inches To visualize this thickness, the strap overlap where it is sewn together is just under 1/4 inch thick (.25 inches). You can do the math, .081 x 3 = .243 inches. Compare that to your old strap or your the one your buddy has. This is a thick strap. All the OEM straps I've seen are less than .048 inn thickness, more like ribbon for wrapping a birthday present, than for hanging off the front of your 4x4. This extra heavy duty polypropylene strap is approximately 10 inches in length with a loop at each end, a small loop to attach to your hook and a larger loop to fit you hand. The large loop is big enough for a gloved hand. Of course, if you just need one strap then, by all means, just get one. This strap is not intended or suitable for connecting your winch hook to a load or for pulling.
