The gilding are very good, there may be tiny scratches except for Volume 12. The gilding on the bottom corner edge of Volume 12 is rubbed (see last photo). The Easton Press books are bound in genuine leather binding, with 22kt gold accents and hubbed spines, gilded page ends, acid-neutral paper, Moire fabric endsheets, and evocative illustrations and decorations.
